Our Core Values

Worship Together

We believe in the Triune God, Creator and King of the universe, God who loved us so much he sent His Son Jesus Christ to welcome us into a relationship with God. Good Samaritan Church believes in hospitality where everyone is welcome to experience the love of God.

Jesus said, " But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:23-24

Learn Together

We learn best when we wrestle with God's Word together through study, open discussion and prayer. We believe the Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments, reveals the Word of God so far as it is necessary for our salvation. It is received through the Holy Spirit as the true rule of faith and practice. Whatever is not revealed in or established by the Holy Scriptures is not to be made an article of faith nor is it to be taught as essential to salvation.

Jesus said, "People need more than bread for their life; they must feed on every word of God." Matthew 4:4 NLT  

Serve Together

We believe God has called us to use our resources to relieve suffering, comfort those in need and make a difference in the world. We will serve together locally and globally sharing the Love of God with neighbors near and far.

Jesus said, "But among you, those who are the greatest should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be the servant." Luke 22:26 NLT 

Play Together

God invented laughter, friendship, rest and play. We value playing together and enjoying God's good gifts of beauty, celebration and recreation. A balanced life is an abundant life.

Jesus said, " The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all it's fullness." John 10:10
